“Faces of Travel” celebrates the people and personalities that give a place its soul. This collection includes animals, couples, families, and quiet moments of connection, captured both a short flight away and across the world.
Each maker was invited to interpret the theme in their own way, through literal portraits or creative storytelling, reflecting what travel, connection, and discovery mean to them.
“African Honeymoon”

As a wedding photographer, getting to capture moments like this feels incredibly special. This couple was honeymooning in Zanzibar, an island just off the coast of Tanzania, and we met at sunset, when the light turned soft and golden. It wasn’t just a photo, it was the beginning of their story in a place they’ll never forget.

“Eye of the Survivor”

Traveling through Africa, you begin to notice the many faces of the wild, each one different, each one carrying its own story. Some are soft. Some are curious. And some, like this lion, show a life that has been hard fought. His eyes not perfect, but are so powerful. A reminder that every animal you encounter has lived, endured, and adapted in ways we can only begin to understand.

The kids fearlessly launched themselves off the boat while their parents looked on from behind, taking it all in. You could tell they’ve done this a hundred times, and it never gets old. These are the moments I love to photograph, where adventure and family memories happen all at once.

“The Old Soul of the Serengeti”

While traveling through Tanzania, I had the unforgettable opportunity to photograph this elephant at close range. The deep charcoal tones of its skin and the intricate map of wrinkles tell a story written over decades on the African landscape. Standing quietly behind my camera, I was struck by the calm power in its gaze. Encounters like this are a reminder that travel doesn’t just take us to new places, it brings us face to face with the extraordinary lives that exist beyond our own.

Taken in the pool at Harbourside Atlantis, Bahamas, to test out the snorkel gear before heading to the ocean. This image was created using an underwater housing with dome port and a wide angle lens, to allow for the hotel above the surface to be identifiable while keeping the subject in perfect focus.
